Kristi’s mother shared her artistic interest with her and even as a child, Kristi was singled out because of her art and became accustomed to being identified as an artist. She graduated with her BFA from the University of Utah & was influenced especially by Paul Davis, Dave Dornan, Doug Snow and George Dibble.
Kristi spent her teenage years in Casper, Wyoming after moving with her family from the Midwest. She lived in the Bay area for a short time after her young husband graduated from the University of Wyoming with an engineering degree and then on to Utah where she currently resides in the beautiful Cache Valley.
After working as a lower school art specialist teaching art to K-III students in a private institution, Kristi moved with her husband to North Logan in Oct, 2005. Their two children stayed in Salt Lake to attend the University of Utah. “It’s now time to take what I learned from my young students and paint!”
